Technical Description

WiseLogger consists of a control and data processing module (NI SOM) and signal conditioning and data acquisition module. WiseLogger requires an external power supply. WiseLogger has configurable high speed analog channels, which can be configured to acquire data either from voltage output sensors, or current loop output sensors. High sampling rate analog inputs feature also a high gain amplifier, intended for signal conditioning. Wiselogger is equipped also with 16-bit resolution scanned analog inputs, and analog inputs intended for data acquisition from temperature sensors with 24-bit resolution. The data logger has also configurable analog outputs, which can be configured to be voltage or current outputs. WiseLogger features also list of different digital I/Os, which can be used for various purposes. During configuration of the logger features user can select either USB or Ethernet as an interface for PC connection. If the logger is going to be used standalone, the user can select SD card support for the system for onboard data storage. WiseLogger’s software application does not support sensors working via serial protocols, though logger can be equipped with RS232 and/or RS485 serial ports according to configuration selected. These ports can be programmed using LabVIEW drivers provided with the data logger.
